Pepita d'Oliva a very rare paper doll published in France in the 1850s.
This paper doll represents the famous dancer Josefa Dominga Duran Ortega (Malaga, 1830-1871), better known as Pepita de Oliva who introduced the Flamenco to ballet.
In excellent condition. The box contains 6 original dress, the original paper doll and its wooden base.
The box is 11 cm x 17 cm x 2.5 cm or about 4 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 1", the doll without its base is 12 cm or 4 3/4" tall.
